In an effort to help Indonesian students learn more about educational opportunities in the United States, the U.S. Embassy and EducationUSA announce the launch of the Spring 2015 University Fairs in three cities in Indonesia. Nearly 40 U.S. universities, colleges, and community colleges will participate in the university fair. The event will help explain the many ways that Indonesian students can realize their dream of studying in the United States.
At the Fair prospective students and their parents can learn about the variety of institutions, majors, scholarships and other opportunities available to them. The Fair also includes presentations on how to find the right institution, student visas, admissions essays and scholarship opportunities. The fairs will take place in Medan on February 5, 2015, from 4-8 p.m. at the JW Marriott Hotel in Medan; in Jakarta on February 7, 2015, from 1-6 p.m. at the Kempinski Hotel; and in Surabaya on February 8, 2015 from 1-6 p.m. at the Shangri-La Hotel.
