Are you an #AlumniAS? The U.S. Mission to Indonesia provides ongoing opportunities for alumni to connect with each other and to continue to build on partnerships that were created while they were in the United States.
Alumni of U.S. government-sponsored exchanges are invited to engage in the global Exchange Alumni community at www.alumni.state.gov.
In Indonesia, American Spaces including, MyAmerica Jakarta, and throughout the country are available for alumni to hold events free of charge.

Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) 2023
The Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) is back! AEIF is an annual grant competition from U.S. Department of State that supports teams of alumni with grants from USD $5,000 up to USD $35,000 to complete public service projects that promote shared values and innovative solutions to global challenges. If you are an alum of U.S. government-sponsored international exchange programs, you can team up with other alumni to apply for an Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) grant!
The U.S. Mission to Indonesia will accept public service projects proposed and managed by teams of at least two (2) exchange alumni that support themes such as:
- Economic development
- Environment sustainability
- Protection of human rights
- Public health improvement
- Strengthen the role of public in peace, security, and governance
- Preventing terrorism and countering radicalization and recruitment
Exchange alumni interested in participating in AEIF 2023 should review the complete Notice of Funding Opportunity (PDF – 222 KB) and submit the application (MS Word – 73 KB) and budget form (MS Excel – 36 KB) to indonesiaalumni@state.gov by February 1, 2023 at 11.59 p.m. WIB.
