MyAmerica Jakarta is a state-of-the-art information, research and programming facility that provides up-to-date, accurate and authoritative information about various aspects of the United States. MyAmerica Jakarta also hosts and facilitates diverse programming to strengthen mutual understanding between Indonesians and Americans.

MyAmerica Jakarta is open for public/walk-in visitors with at least one-day appointment in advance. Information/research queries may also be submitted by phone, fax, mail or email.  Our service, facilities, resources and programming events are available free of charge for the general public.

MyAmerica Jakarta offers printed and multimedia resources. We hold approximately 1,200 non-circulating book titles, subscribe to over 30 magazines/journals and provide access to an extensive online database, including eLibraryUSA. Those resources are specialized in American culture, society, politics, foreign policy, journalism, education and global issues of interest such as entrepreneurship and environment.

Educational games for English language learning, STEM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) makerspace tools-such as 3D printers, robotics, circuit building and micro controllers as well as audio and video titles are also part of our valuable collection resources.

MyAmerica Jakarta conducts and hosts various ad-hoc and regular free activities such as:  information literacy classes, movie screenings, makerspace activities, speaker and discussion programs, as well as study in the U.S. consulting sessions.

MyAmerica Jakarta programs provide valuable opportunities for Indonesians to learn more about the United States, engage with American diplomats and experts, practice and improve English language, build special skills or strengthen particular knowledge, explore new things and expand professional networking opportunities.
