THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE (DOS), Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) is seeking high quality firms experienced in complex Design/Build construction projects for the design and construction of a New Consulate Compound in Medan, Indonesia.
19AQMM-23-R0052, Design Build of a New Consulate Compound in Medan, Indonesia
The U.S. Consulate in Medan, Indonesia is relocating from its current lease space to a stand-alone New Consulate Compound. The project site is located in the Polonia neighborhood of Medan, in an area populated by many foreign diplomatic missions. The site is accessed from the north and west through existing city roadways: Mongonsidi street to the north and Polonia street to the west. The compound is approximately 6 acres or 25,000 gross-square-meter (GSM). Approximate geographic center of the site is Latitude 3°34’11.88″N and Longitude 98°40’13.76″. The site was previously occupied by the Indonesian military; it is currently a residential development area and the site is bordered to the east and south by occupied homes.

The Embassy of the United States of America, Jakarta invites the Internet Service Providers (ISP) in Indonesia to provide us with a proposal for 30 Mbps Dedicated internet contract renewal for US Consulate Medan VPN/VNET connection for the period of September 30, 2022 – July 31, 2023 (10 Months), in Medan, Indonesia.
Please find attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents for details of this requirement, and kindly submit your quotation as soon as possible. The deadline for submission of your company’s proposal is on September 7, 2022 at 4:00p.m. WIB. Late offers will not be considered.
The bidders must be ISP companies with the offices operating and base in Indonesia.
The provider must have fiber-optic network infrastructure already present and installed in the Demarc facility at location; and the bidder has to specifically confirm on this requirement on their proposal.
